"You, Yes You!" is a short story about, Yolki,a young egg, who realizes that he is truly the golden light inside, as he goes through life's adventures that shed his exterior shell on piece at a time. Through this journey, he learns to overcome feelings of self-doubt and fear by practicing self-awareness, compassion, non-attachment and selflessness. By the end, Yolki is beaming with inner joy and is grateful to have gone through the ups and downs in his adventure, for without them, he would have never unearthed his true self. The book distills the complex concepts of self-empowerment, love and acceptance rooted in the Vedanta philosophy into simple but effective illustrations. Despite the look and feel of a children's book, this book is meant for all ages, races, ethnicities and faiths. It's mean to introduce to the youth, and remind the seasoned, that we all arrived here completely whole just as we are, each with unique and distinct purpose. It is a reminder to give to others freely, look within to find your true-self and to let your inner light shine bright. It is a reminder that we are more than our external and physical being, and that if we practice connection, self(less) love, trust, courage and gratitude, we can blossom into who ew are truly meant to be. And lastly, it is a reminder that there is a place inside of you, where only you, will find the true you.
