Maddie, as she was called, was going to expand her holdings and hoped to win the lighthouse. It was a lighthouse standing on top of a cliff overlooking Lake Superior in the State of Michigan. - e property was part of the Shipwreck Coast known for its currents leading to dangerous sailing conditions where many freighters for the last one hundred years or more had sunk into their watery graves below the foot of the cliff. Although Maddie won the lighthouse and its keepers house, she had one rival who lost to her.He presented as an extremely angry man, and thus began a string of dangerous incidents leading to attempted murder.
