'Unless there's a witch in it, the most dangerous thing in a forest ought to be a wizard. And if it isn't, there ought to be a sign up, warning people about it.'
Admus Talincote, wizard. Quick-witted. Reckless. All alone.
A forest on a winter's day as night approaches. The wrong fork on the path. A terrible discovery.
A howl in the distance, a monster out of legend.
And the battle for survival begins…
Humour and thrills in a page-turning adventure for in a richly imagined mediaeval fantasy world. A gripping short story from the Talincote Chronicles to curl up with as the nights draw in.
