Richard Reynell Bellamy joined Oswald Mosley’s British Union of Fascists soon after it was founded, and in the role of National Inspector he not only came to know just about every British Blackshirt worth knowing, but also attended all of the major rallies and meetings. In this official history of the movement, Bellamy covers the early support given by the ‘Press Barron’ Lord Rothermere, and why his support for British Fascism came to an abrupt end.
