THE NEW YORK SCHOOL FOR PSYCHOANALYTIC PSYCHO-THERAPY AND PSYCHOANALYSIS, now in its fourth decade, recognizes psychoanalytic psychotherapy as a major professional discipline. The school provides training based on contemporary psychoanalytic theory which integrates the perspectives of drive theory and ego psychology with the contributions of self and object relations theory.
