How can a woman raised to expect the 'end times' learn to live in an ordinary world?
Lisa Cattell grew up in a tightly controlled religious group. Fear shaped belief. The outside world was dangerous. Praying for forgiveness ensured survival.
At eighteen, she found the courage to escape.
But leaving, was just the beginning.
Re-navigating trauma, control and loss she confronted miscarriage, assault, divorce and a life-threatening cancer diagnosis. This is a journey to the heart of what healing truly offers: reclaiming one's identity, self-empowerment and freedom, with the strength to change.
UNBOUND: A Memoir
Included:
an easy Un:bound somatic release method Lisa used to rebuild herself, and
questions to support reflection and journalling for readers or Book Clubs.
