Over the span of a year, lifelong New Yorker ARTHUR 'SEF' SEFTEL told his life's story to his granddaughter, author LISA DELLAVECCHIA , through a series of interviews. As he reflects on the events of his traumatic childhood, his marriage, his career, and his senior years, a gripping narrative of struggle, loss, and love emerges. Sef's candidness and dry wit throughout these pages provide a vibrant lesson of endurance, hope, and love in New York from 1928 until the present. His wish is to inspire all the "someones" reading this tale.
