La tranquillità di una vacanza a Roccapietrosa, piccolo paese arroccato sull’Appennino abruzzese, viene interrotta da alcuni eventi delittuosi apparentemente non collegati fra loro. Nell’hotel ‘All’orso bruno’ la receptionist viene ritrovata morta nel vano delle scale di servizio. Debora Nardi, ospite della struttura, rinviene il cadavere della ragazza e, da subito, nutre qualche dubbio che si tratti di un incidente. Troverà un alleato in Walter Bruno, anch’egli in vacanza nello stesso hotel e curioso quanto lei. Contemporaneamente si viene a sapere della scomparsa di un bambino del paese. Walter e Debora svolgeranno insieme un’indagine parallela a quella ufficiale dei carabinieri, con l’aiuto risolutivo del cane di Walter, meticcio con le qualità di un vero segugio. English version The tranquility of a holiday in Roccapietrosa, a small town perched on the Abruzzo Apennines, is interrupted by some apparently unrelated criminal events. In the hotel 'All'orso bruno' the receptionist is found dead in the service stairwell. Debora Nardi, a guest of the structure, finds the girl's body and immediately has some doubts that it was an accident. She will find an ally in Walter Bruno, who is also on holiday in the same hotel and as curious as her. At the same time she learns of the disappearance of a child from the village. Walter and Debora will carry out a parallel investigation to the official one of the carabinieri, with the decisive help of Walter's dog, a mestizo with the qualities of a real bloodhound.
