From the time an avalanche fractured, to the time elite back-country snowmobile rider Matt Potratz was violently crushed into a tree and buried, was twelve seconds. In a mere twelve seconds, everything changed. Miraculously, Matt survived despite significant trauma and a lengthy coma. A long and ongoing recovery left him with a hand he can't use. But by the hand of God and the amazing people in his life, he's never been without two hands. Read a story written with passion by the man who fought through an experience that turned his life upside-down. Every moment of confusion, pain, agony, frustration and tears led him to a new laughter, a new song to sing, a new life to live. This book will make you laugh, cry, cringe, and most of all, reflect. What will you do if life slides out?
