TWO BAD BITCHES
Caren Cross
They were supposed to take this trip as three best friends. Now only two of them are coming back.
One year ago, Wendy Bordeau and Catherine Brooks lost their best friend, Linda Prince, just days before the three women were supposed to begin the cross-country road trip of a lifetime.
Linda never made it.
Brutally murdered in New York, she left behind two grieving friends, an unfinished journey, and one final promise.
Now Wendy and Catherine are keeping it.
With Linda's ashes secured in the back of Wendy's Jeep, the women set out for California determined to finish the trip their friend never got to take. Wendy is a former Marine. Catherine is an NYC Correction Officer. And after what happened to Linda, both women made themselves a promise of their own:
Never be defenseless again.
That promise is about to be tested.
A scenic detour through the Arkansas Ozarks brings them to the isolated town of Briar Ridge, where five local men don't take rejection well. What begins with unwanted attention outside a roadside motel quickly becomes a terrifying nighttime pursuit through the mountains.
The men think they're chasing two frightened women.
They have no idea who they picked.
When Wendy and Catherine stop running and disappear into the woods, the hunt changes direction.
But Briar Ridge is hiding something far worse than a handful of violent locals. Behind the town's back roads, corrupt law enforcement, abandoned properties, and generations of carefully buried secrets lies a nightmare stretching far beyond Arkansas.
Wendy and Catherine came west to say goodbye to Linda.
Instead, they may have discovered what they were meant to do next.
Fast, violent, darkly funny, and unapologetically outrageous, TWO BAD BITCHES is a grindhouse action thriller about friendship, survival, revenge, and two women who discover that sometimes the worst mistake a predator can make...
is choosing the wrong victims.
Someone is going to squeal like a pig—but it won't be these two.
