You fear ever trusting anybody again, and you bleed all over close family and friends. Why now? Why me? Why you? You beg God for an explanation, but He just isn't hearing you. The truth is, God is listening all along, and it becomes clear that even in the lowest points of life, you can overcome with faith and hope.Truth Is-Why Lie Now became the title of this book because it puts into words the truth in its entirety. The author believes God blessed her with the gift of creativity to write and share her deepest secrets through poetry. She is writing to overcome insecurities from a broken friendship, along with many childhood and adulthood experiences. She is also writing about past and present experiences for family and friends-to inspire them to overcome as well.Until this day, my wounds are not healed, and I still bleed, but my poetry is my therapy, and sharing it with you heals me.-Lorraine Saavedra
