Ava loves building sandpiles with her toy trucks. Levin enjoys climbing the sandpiles with his toy dinosaurs. Both friends are convinced their toys are the best. But when they start directly comparing Ava's trucks and Levin's dinosaurs, they find that "the best" depends on which measurement they take. In Math All Around, narrative-driven stories introduce foundational math concepts to young readers in creative ways. Each title combines an interesting story with an important math concept from the Common Core curriculum, while simple language helps build readers' confidence in reading. This title corresponds to CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.2.MD.A.3.
