excerpts from "Tropical Symphony" - "Nothing ever fills those empty gaps when we lose loved ones. A major lesson I learnt from my grandparents and Mam is nothing truly does. Their Christian faith nourished the belief that they would meet one day and be happy again, singing, laughing and eating. Perhaps this is heaven? I do not know nor could I imagine their unbearable pains of separation and loss. Somehow, they kept on going. ... The story is not over."
