Town of Salvation deals with the topic of guilt and how it is properly dealt with in relation to God. Each religion has its method of dealing with guilt and it is basically the same. They seek to deal with their guilt by performing some type of good works to gain favor with God. They believe their good works make them acceptable to enter heaven. The author shows, by a trip into a town called Salvation that this thinking is totally opposite of the teaching of the Bible. He goes on to illustrate how Christianity is different from every other religion of the world because of God's requirement for salvation in which our good works are not the correct currency. The author then takes the reader into Gift Shoppe to show God's wonderful plan of salvation in a very understandable way. Walk the aisles of the Gift Shoppe with him and see the selections needed to procure your salvation. You will find this walk interesting and unique.
