What does it actually mean to become a better man?
Stronger? More disciplined? Wiser? Braver?
And what happens when the virtues we pursue begin working against us?
It sounds like a simple question. It wasn’t.
Tomorrow Morning began as a personal attempt to understand the virtues I thought a man should possess: perception, strength, discipline, wisdom, humility, courage, responsibility, faith.
Instead, I found myself examining the man I already was.
Through memories of childhood, work, military service, failure, fear, duty and moments that forced me to confront myself, these questions gradually became something larger than the answers I was looking for.
This is not a guide to becoming a better person.
It offers no formula, no ten steps, and no promise of transformation.
Written as a reflective journey rather than a traditional self-help manual, this is a book for readers interested in Stoicism, virtue, purpose, character and the difficult work of self-examination.
Not a set of answers.
A search for better questions.
Perhaps some of these questions belong only to me.
Perhaps some of them belong to you too.
