After surviving a near-death experience at the hands of the man she loved, Aida Finch seeks to rebuild her life and identity as she awaits her pending trial date. Choosing to hide away in isolation and start over in the small coastal town of Midnight Cove, Washington she will go through the raw emotions of love and loss and self-renewal, as she starts her own small business and opens herself back up to the possibility of love once again. But will it work out or is the damage too great.
