When the clock strikes midnight, the evil queen will need their help... Princess Dianne has always preferred animals to humans, but then an obnoxious enchanter named Jadon intrudes. Now that he's played matchmaker for her brother, he's determined to do the same for her. Attending his honorary ball and socializing is the last thing Dianne wants to do. But when Jadon's top choice for her seeks her out on the dance floor, she's wrapped up in a dangerous adventure that holds the answers her family has been searching for. Salvador goes to the ball to ask Jadon to join a rescue mission, but meeting Dianne is an unexpected perk. Everything might just work out, as long as they don't find out who he's working for. When Jadon and the princess push for answers he shouldn't give, Salvador unwittingly flirts with Dianne and disaster at the same time. And as it turns out, not even Jadon can save everyone. It might be time for Dianne to finally step out of the shadows and step up. Does an oversensitive princess stand a chance at evening the odds before midnight strikes? Book 2 of a five-part novella series, This Glass Heart is perfect for fans of Ever After and The Fault in Our Stars.
