The call to contend for truth in this generation is not about shouting the loudest or longest to win a theological or moral argument. Instead, it's about realizing we live in a confused and hurting world that desperately needs the life-changing message of the Gospel. When we allow the Holy Spirit to help us see and value people the way Jesus does, we will be compelled by compassion to do everything we can to reach this generation with the love of God they so urgently need. Jason Yarbrough and his wife, Susan, are the lead pastors of Hope Church in Algood, Tennessee. He holds a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Northwest University and serves on the leadership team for the Tennessee Ministry Network of the Assemblies of God. Jason has been in ministry for over 35 years. He and Susan have been married since 1990 and have three adult children and one grandson.
