Brandon was in the middle of a divorce from his wife Helen when they decided to stay together while he was overseas in case anything happened to him. They did it for their daughter, Bella. Now he's back and his divorce papers are waiting for him along with a company that is taking all his time. Just when they thought their divorce was final, they find out Bella is struggling at school and with friends and the school has advised counseling. Forced to go to counseling as a family, Brandon and Helen work through discussions that they've never had and their romance is rekindled.
