*Product information may vary - to confirm product availability, pricing, shipping and return information please contact Coles
This book presents a 10,000 foot view of no-limit hold'em (NLHE) cash games. It is aimed at beginning-intermediate level players, as well as any player making the difficult switch to no-limit. The principle concepts are covered in a compact and easy-to-read format. Using clear, simple, conversational language and examples, the reader is gently led into thinking about the game and its intricacies. Despite the fairly complex topic, the fresh and sometimes humorous style is never dry or boring. While still 'poker' in name, NLHE is a vastly different and more complex game than what many people have played in the past. The book's basic premise is that there are no absolutes in no-limit. It is not a mechanical game for robots; thinkin' is required... Thinkin' About No-Limit introduces a big-picture framework for analyzing and reacting to the myriad situations that arise on the felt. ------------------------------------------- A few testimonials from Amazon: "This is an enjoyable, readable, intermediate level book on no limit hold-em...a valuable addition for a novice- intermediate like myself. Generally better than a lot of poker books I've read." (4 stars) - Paul Laprade
"Very good info for a beginner / recreational player looking to further [their] skill level !" (5 stars) - Amazon Customer
"Good insight...Well written and very informative." (4 stars) - Nicole M
