Things I Did While I Was Dead is her first collection since recovering from throat cancer and first as "herself"; she also has a well known alter ego, Rosie Lugosi - cabaret chanteuse and decadent hostess of such events as 'Burlesque!' at The Lowry theatre. Rosie's numerous awards include both the Alternative Oscar and Diva awards for solo performer, the DaDa award for performance art, and the People's Cafe Poetry Award in New York. Her debut novel The Palace of Curiosities [HarperCollins, 2013] won the Mslexia novel competition.
