Do you want to hear God speak to you about the deep stuff in your soul? Too much of modern prayer is asking God for stuff we want. There is nothing wrong with this, but the only way God can respond to that form of prayer is to either give us what we want or refuse to answer. The silence is deafening. Too often we limit our requests to what we think the solution should be instead of relying on God's creative and sovereign power to answer in the way that works for the good of all who believe. You can learn to interact with God and receive answers to prayer in way you never imagined. In order to have that happen, you have to pray in a way that is not even called "prayer" these days. It involves getting much closer to God's own words in the scriptures. This short book uses prayer prompts, exercises, and provides a better understanding of how prayer works. It just might be the most impactful book on prayer you'll read.
