Patty Moskos did a series of paintings about the feeling and experiences of being a woman, drawn from her journal keeping. While attending a writer's conference in Taos, NM, Patty decided to write "These Stolen Flowers" as a two-part poetry book, describing the difficult experiences of rape victimization that includes a self-help section on rape avoidance, with space for writing-in one's own stories, as an aid in overcoming rape issues.
