On a snowy winter day Max finds his imagination working in overdrive when he looks out his window to discover a brontosaurus sleeping on his porch rail. Max begins to realize there are so many questions to be asked when you suddenly find yourself with a pet brontosaurus. In the end, Max has a closer look and discovers that in fact there is no Brontosaurus sleeping on his porch rail. He wonders if his eyes were plying tricks on him as all he can see is a Dino shaped pile of snow. Written in simple rhyming verse with vibrantly coloured, fun illustrations to spur on a child's imagination and help readers build reading skill confidence and stay engaged. Each page has full colour illustrations with many little added characters to promote imagination use and discussion with parents or caregivers. There is a section at the end of the book that encourages children to create their own snow pet and imagine questions to ask if they came to life.
