Theory and Technology of Multiscale Dispersed Particle Gel for in-depth Profile Controlsystematically introduces the preparation principles and methods of DPG particles. The DPG particles are successfully prepared with bulk gel by a high shearing method. The whole preparation process can be divided into two major stages: bulk gel crosslinking reaction period and DPG particle preparation period. The effects of bulk gel strength, shearing time, shearing rate, and bulk gel-water ratio on the PDPG particles are systematically analysed. Zirconium bulk gel, phenolic resin bulk gel, and organic-inorganic cross-linked bulk gel with short gelation time on the ground are introduced. The gelation properties, gelation influencing factors, thermal stability, and applicable conditions are included in this book. The industrialized production process of DPG particles has been set up and the production process is described in detail. 20 industrialized production lines have been successfully established in China. Due to the simple production process and convenient injection; online production and injection integrated skid equipment is also developed which can meet the complex construction environment such as desert and sea, etc. Based on multi-scale DPG particles; soft heterogeneous compound flooding system, DPG strengthened polymer/surfactant combination flooding system and three-phase foam are introduced in detail. The authors also analyse the in-depth profile control and displacement mechanism and synergy mechanism of the above three systems. This book systematically describes the theory and technology of multiscale dispersed particle gel which shows promise as an acceptable alternative to the conventional water technology for enhanced oil recovery in other high water cut mature oilfields. Systematically describes the theory and technology of multiscale dispersed particle gel which brings readers the latest knowledge and insights on new enhanced oil recovery technologiesShows the details of each technology, and it is easy to achieve industrial production of DPG (dispersed particle gel particles). It may also attract more petroleum engineers to study/apply this technologyAfter technical achievements from 20 successful established industrial production lines and 17 oilfields at home and abroad; the DPG particles will provide an important reference to water production control in high water cut oilfieldsBesides, with the development of three new technologies based on the DPG particles; more new technologies and application areas will be further expanded after the publication of this book | Theory And Technology Of Multiscale Dispersed Particle Gel For In-depth Profile Control by Caili Dai, Paperback | Indigo Chapters
