In Theo the Toad Throws a Tea Party by Kelly Johnson, a cheerful and imaginative toad named Theo wakes up one sunny morning with a delightful ideato host a tea party for all his woodland and pond friends. With excitement bubbling, Theo sets out to plan the perfect celebration, creating handmade invitations with berry ink and leaf cards, which are lovingly delivered by dragonflies, ducklings, and rabbits. As the forest buzzes with anticipation, animals prepare with curiosity and care, wondering what a tea party might be like. With help from his best friend Lily the Ladybug, Theo gathers acorn shell teacups, willow leaf plates, and wildflower decorations, transforming a cozy clearing into a magical party spot. To make the day truly special, Theo crafts a surprise tea using fresh mint and honey gifted by friendly bees. As the sweet aroma floats through the forest, guests begin to arrive, drawn by the scent and the promise of joyful gathering. In the end, Theos thoughtful planning and warm heart bring the community together for an unforgettable day of laughter, friendship, and delicious tea.
