Maria is an Art History professor who has recently been abandoned by her husband. Her house is empty and the town in which she lives is experiencing some violent windy storms, so the only respite she has from her loneliness is her work. There's one student, Cedric, who shows a glimmer of promise but she senses that something is holding him back. But the more she talks to him the more she realizes the depth of his soul and suddenly she sees him as more than just a college student.
