When Clara Ainsworth inherits an old house on the edge of the Yorkshire moors, she expects paperwork, dust and a quick sale. Instead, Blackwood Lane greets her with cold rooms, moving objects and whispers inside the walls. As Clara searches through her late great-aunt’s belongings, she discovers that the house has a dark history. Something has lived there for generations, feeding on fear and trapping anyone who stays too long. With the road hidden by fog and every escape cut off, Clara must uncover the rules that bind the presence to the house. To survive, she will have to face the terror growing around her and resist the isolation it uses against its victims. The Whispering Walls of Blackwood Lane is a tense Gothic ghost story about an inherited secret, a watchful house and one woman’s fight to keep fear from taking control.
