Peace in Windmoore was a given—until midnight became a death sentence.
Windmoore seemed the perfect place to grow old: cobblestone streets, historic busts keeping watch over the square, and a harmony that defied the passage of time. But when the moon rises, something detaches itself from the darkness of the statues. It is no animal. It is no legend. It is an abomination that feasts upon the lives of those who can no longer run.
The neighborhood's elderly are vanishing—drained of blood and essence—feeding a creature whose hunger grows with every victim. What initially appears to be a savage attack reveals itself to be a centuries-old vendetta, an open wound from the past demanding payment.
As Father Julian and the fearless Mrs. Gable attempt to unravel the secret behind the claws that tear through the night, the neighborhood transforms into an open-air graveyard. They soon discover a terrifying truth: the creature does not hunt them at random. It knows them. It hates them. And it will not stop until the last prayer in Windmoore is silenced.
How far would you go to stop a monster that is the very embodiment of hatred?
