Three years ago, Grace Holloway left Oakhaven in disgrace , accused of stealing from the very church community she had trusted.
She lost her reputation, her home, and the man she loved.
Now Grace has returned for one reason: her sister Lila's wedding . She intends to survive the weekend, keep her distance from the people who condemned her, and leave Oakhaven behind once again.
Then the lights go out.
And Lila disappears .
What begins as a desperate search for her sister uncovers something far more dangerous—a hidden ledger, missing church funds, powerful families, corrupt officials, and a conspiracy protected by years of silence.
Grace is forced to work alongside Caleb Reed , the man who once loved her but failed to stand beside her when she needed him most. Caleb wants another chance to prove that he has changed, but Grace has learned the cost of trusting too easily.
As the evidence grows and the threats become deadly, Grace must decide how far she is willing to go for the truth—and whether faith can survive betrayal by people who claimed to speak for God.
Because in Oakhaven, silence has protected powerful people for years.
And now someone is willing to kill to preserve it.
The Weight of Silence is a gripping Christian romantic suspense novel about faith, betrayal, corruption, forgiveness, second chances, and the courage to expose the truth—even when the truth could cost everything.
