When the game is on the line and the clock is ticking, every decision matters especially when you're a young hockey player torn between following the rules and following your heart.
The Warning: A Hockey Player's Dilemma is a fast-paced, humor-filled, and heartwarming children's story that blends the thrill of competition with the warmth of friendship. The neighborhood hockey crew is in the middle of an intense game, sticks clashing and pucks flying, when the golden light of evening fades and the streetlights begin to glow. Bedtime is near, but the kids aren't ready to call it quits. Every player wants just "one more shot" before heading in.
Then comes the warning from a watchful parent the signal that the night is almost over. Now the young players must face the ultimate choice: listen to the rules, or take a risk for one last chance at glory.
Told in playful rhymes and brought to life through vibrant, colorful illustrations, this story captures the energy of neighborhood hockey games, the joy of friendly rivalries, and the universal tug-of-war between responsibility and fun. Perfect for young athletes, sports-loving families, and anyone who knows the magic of "just a couple more minutes."
