What if Princess Leia had decided to become an animal doctor, Darth Vader set out to destroy Alderaan's livestock, and Obi-Wan Kenobi happened to be a vet?
Seventeen-year-old Luna Auer thought she had her future planned: finish at a top-notch high school, continue her education, and graduate as a veterinarian. But when her scholarship is suddenly revoked, her dream and her world are turned upside down. Resorting to a work-study program in a remote corner of the universe, she discovers a plan by the corrupt corporation she works for to eliminate the planet's hybrid animals. With the help of an eccentric motorcycle-riding vet and his canine sidekick, will Luna be able to save those she has come to love?
Fans of Dr. Dolittle will enjoy the wild ride adventure, its illustrated exotic animals, and the characters who treat them.
