Coles The Vampire's Late Fee: The Moonfall Library, #1 at Village Green Shopping Centre in Vernon, BC

A book 117 years overdue. A vampire whose life is the late fee. A librarian who refuses to let the catalogue decide who gets to survive.
Nell Armitage is fighting to keep Moonfall Library open when Cassian Vey returns a book borrowed more than a century ago.
The brass returns machine wakes.
The book starts predicting deaths.
And Cassian's impossible account reveals a debt that cannot be paid in money.
Every overdue day has been charged against memory, identity—and life.
As Moonfall begins forgetting its own library, Nell and Cassian uncover a hidden collection built to preserve people by owning them. Breaking its rules means trusting each other: Nell must risk the institution she loves, while Cassian must confront the part he played in creating the system that trapped them both.
The closer they get to the truth, the harder it becomes to ignore the attraction between them—and the more dangerous the catalogue becomes.
Because the library has already written Cassian's ending.
Now it is trying to write Nell's too.
The Vampire's Late Fee is Book One of The Moonfall Library, a slow-burn small-town paranormal romance featuring a vampire hero, a magical library, found family, supernatural mystery, and a complete central HEA.
