The Transparent Veil is the true story of Judy Mitchell who, at the young age of 17, joined the Convent and devoted 26 years to "wearing the veil". Judy's awe-inspiring life as a Catholic sister is peppered with amazing detail, including her 11-year dedication of extraordinary mission work as a teacher in Finland. Judy's sacred existence as a nun was shaken when she fell in love with the one man who turned her world upside down. Her courageous decision to leave the Convent will pull at your heartstrings as she relives the humiliation of leaving the Convent and the disappointment she felt from those who shamed her. With the love of her husband and his commitment to serving his country with loyalty, she joined his crusade and dedication to The American Legion. Judy's Mitchell's life continues now with her undying love of God...her unforgettable memoies of one man...her never-ending commitment to country.
