Haruto is a quiet, unremarkable student who prefers the comfort of predictability in his school life, but everything shifts when Aoi Takamine, a calm and enigmatic transfer student, joins his class. From the moment she arrives, she draws subtle attention from everyone—including Haruto—despite her composed and understated presence. After being assigned to sit beside him, Aoi quickly establishes a steady, matter-of-fact closeness, speaking to him as if their connection is already decided rather than newly formed. She walks home with him, then the next day becomes his permanent seatmate, disrupting Haruto’s routine sense of invisibility and control. As the days begin to blur between ordinary lessons and small, charged interactions, Haruto finds himself increasingly aware of Aoi’s presence and the way she quietly inserts herself into his life, making it harder for him to remain in the background and signaling the beginning of a relationship that feels both inevitable and unsettlingly significant.
