Aging up is like growing up; choices have to be made. Zelin finds that balancing inner harmony and outer life—as it exists—is what living is all about. These writings trace her evolution with frank vulnerability.
Author Gilda Zelin says: Let this not be named a documentary but rather a storytelling of this decade of my life.
Perform, Gilda, perform! Do not allow breakdowns to hinder you. The Gilda Show must go on…keep walking, keep smiling. This is only Act III; there are too many conflicts to enact and resolve. I cannot let my body take control and break down.
When I wake at dawn, I realize the joy of being alive in my future. My years are limited. Not only do I now stop and inhale the fragrance of roses, I linger to enjoy their colors and their world.
My soul has learned to absorb the goodness and vitality around me and feel grateful for it. Who am I? I am that I am, just like that!
