A string of violent crimes causes unrest in the city of Grayson, particularly for a group of teens, who are still feeling the effects of a traumatic childhood event that altered the course of their lives. After rising above the abuse he experienced as a young boy and building the strength to fight back, Jeremiah takes on a new protégé in Sebastian, hoping to teach him how to achieve balance and redemption. However, when dark family secrets are unveiled that trigger Jeremiah's inner demons, he starts to lose his grip on the reins, resulting in devastating consequences. When the danger hits too close to home, Jeremiah's former best friend, Keith, must decide whether he is willing to revisit his haunted past and form an unlikely alliance to protect the ones he loves. Meanwhile, Ally, Domenic, and Eddie navigate friendship, romance, and family dysfunction as their high school careers come to a close.
