Have you ever felt divided between what you show and who you truly are? Have you ever listened, in silence, to those voices that live inside you—and don't always agree with one another? If you choose to open this book, don't expect a story with a clear beginning and end. No. What you're about to enter is a different kind of space. One where the characters have no names, because they could carry yours. One where what is said isn't always understood by the mind, but by something deeper. I, the one speaking to you now, am nothing more than a voice. A narrator who does not speak from the outside, but from within. From the depths of a woman who has broken into pieces: thought, guilt, desire, memory, judgment, solace… voices that struggle with one another to understand what happened, to know who she is, or whether she is still in time to be saved. The Star and The Shadow will not give you answers. But perhaps it will ask you the right questions. Or keep you company as you face your own. Because at some point, we all come face to face with our shadow. And all of us, also, have longed to be a star. Do you dare to look within?
