Marcus thought about how closely the dreams of a child mimicked the reality of his adult life. Was he predestined as a kid to live the life he was now living or did all this happen by chance? He was certain that his spirit dreams were real, and that Gloria was real. Could Gloria have been some angel sent by an all-knowing Creator to guide and protect him through his journeys in life. Or was she the embodiment of the Holy Spirit that entered his body when he accepted Christ as his savior? Were the choices he made his own or was God guiding him to an outcome despite his decisions?
Marcus, now 28, was brutalized as a kid. To escape the bullying, he created a dream world where pain and fear did not exist. In this world, he was respected and had three close friends. He also had a special gift, and with the help of his friends, righted the wrongs, defended the vulnerable, and protected his world from evil. Now, as an adult the dream world has become a reality and he has been given the task of preventing the destruction that a terrorist organization has determined to inflict on one of San Franciscos great landmarks.
The Spirt Led: Divine Calling asks the question: Are our paths predetermined at birth, or do we have control of our own destinies? Or does God use the events and decisions in our life, good and bad, to shape us to do His good will?
