They are going to try to make it through the roads of a desperate world to a youth summer camp recreational area to carry on their lives and they will be the ones that thrive. Modern civilization travels with them because they have the means to run electric tools and a lap top computer that was protected by a faraday cage. The encyclopedias full of knowledge of how to live off the land, treat illness and kick start an industrial society remains at their fingertips if they can hold on to it and protect it.
