For decades my friends were urging me to write thisbook, but I didn’t have a clear concept about form, genre or style and purpose.I was often misunderstood so I wanted the truth to surface, but more than that;I wanted to give some guidance to young people, especially my grandchildren sothey could avoid the pitfalls I had and emulate my modest achievements. I enjoyed writing the events, chuckling at some andchoking up at other parts as I re-lived them. I hope the reader can get immersed in the changingmoods and enjoy the book. Joe
