"The Silver Princess in Oz" introduces readers to a new character, Princess Planetty, the titular Silver Princess. Planetty hails from a distant star, Anuther Planet, where everything is made of a silver-like substance. She arrives in Oz aboard a unique spaceship made of this same material, accompanied by her loyal steed, a wooden horse named Thun.Upon landing in Oz, specifically in the Kingdom of the Red Top Mountains, Planetty quickly becomes involved in the affairs of the land. She meets Kabumpo, the Elegant Elephant (a character previously introduced in the series), and Randy, a young boy from Philadelphia who has already had adventures in Oz. Together, they embark on a quest to solve a mystery and right wrongs in the kingdom.
