She bought the land to heal others. Now, the land demands a sacrifice.
Evelyn, a city girl with a vision, thought she'd found her paradise. Seeking a fresh start, she purchased 120 acres of remote North Carolina wilderness, sight unseen, to build the wellness retreat of her dreams. But the property hides a secret-a barren, forty-foot circle where nothing grows and the legends of the locals are far more than mere folklore.
Deep in the woods lies the Devil's Tramping Ground, a site whispered about for centuries as a gateway for darkness. From the moment Evelyn arrives, the Circle begins to take hold, pulling at her intuition and her sanity. As a healer, she is trained to soothe, but the ground demands a different kind of service.
As the influence of the Circle grows, Evelyn finds herself compelled to perform rituals she doesn't understand and desires she never dared to dream. The woods are watching, the ground is hungry, and Evelyn is no longer the one in control.
Will she break the cycle, or will she be the next thing the Circle feeds?
Discover the chilling secrets of The Silent Clearing, a must-read for fans of paranormal mystery, dark folklore, and haunting suspense.
