Deep in the Ozarks of the Cherokee Nation in Adair County, there are places people don't talk about.
Not because they don't exist-
but because they always have. When thirteen-year-old Marie steps off a familiar trail and into something she can't explain, she returns certain of one thing: she wasn't alone. What she saw doesn't make sense.
A circle of stones hidden in the trees.
A basket that shouldn't exist.
Voices speaking just beyond understanding.
And the longer she tries to forget it, the more it refuses to let her go.
Soon, others begin to notice.
Christian feels things he can't explain.
Jaysun understands more than he's willing to say.
And the woods around Redbird Ridge begin to feel... different. Guided by those who remember the old ways, they begin to realize a truth that isn't meant to be explained-only lived:
some places don't belong entirely to this world.
And some things...
have always been there.
The Secret of Redbird Ridge is a quiet, haunting coming-of-age story about family, land, and the moment you realize the world is bigger than you were ever taught.
