All that glitters isn't gold. Sometimes the treasure is right under your nose.
The Second Best Pony is the second book in the Amber's Pony Tales Series and follows Amber as she pursues her desire for Pony Club success. She loves her Fell pony, Pearl, but sadly, Pearl is no Pony Club star. So, when Molly, a prize-winning show jumper, comes into her life, Amber can't wait to ride and win against her rival, Elisha Templeton. But building a relationship with Molly isn't as easy as Amber thought it would be, and soon her confidence is in tatters. Are Amber's dreams of Pony Club fun over? Or could an overlooked and underestimated pony come to her rescue and help her to learn to judge herself by her own achievements, rather than comparing herself to others?
The Second Best Pony is a story that shows how both people and ponies can have qualities that may not be apparent at first.
