AT NINETEEN YEARS OLD, TREY BARBETTE'S life takes an unexpected detour on a windy California highway, where he barely survives a horrendous automobile accident. With the help of his family and physical therapist Raney Currin, Trey slowly regains strength, but is told he will never walk again. From his depth of despair, Trey becomes enchanted by the lovely and beguiling woman who emanates both intensity and a wispy scent of wildflower. Despite many difficulties, Trey and Raney fall deeply in love. A painful psychological wound from Raney's past appears and threatens their relationship. With the support of Trey's love, Raney slowly faces the source of her anguish. Together, Trey and Raney overcome the odds and create a remarkable life together. The Scent Of Wildflowers lives in Trey's senses as a tangible reminder of his love for Raney. The Scent Of Wildflowers is a family saga and story of the power of love that will touch you with it's warmth and honesty.
