This inspiring and deeply personal memoir tells the story of a senior author's determination to fulfill her lifelong dream of becoming a published writer despite the painful challenges she encountered along the way. Entering the online publishing world with hope, trust, and excitement, she believed she had finally found the right path to share her stories with readers across the globe. However, behind the promises of professional publishing services were individuals driven by deception, manipulation, and greed.
As a first-time author unfamiliar with the industry, she became the victim of publishing scams that not only took advantage of her financially but also withheld the royalties she rightfully earned from her book sales. Just when she thought things could not get worse, she found herself deceived a second time. Instead of allowing these heartbreaking experiences to destroy her passion for writing, she chose to fight back through knowledge, perseverance, and faith.
More than a personal testimony, this book serves as a practical guide and warning for aspiring authors everywhere. Filled with valuable advice, it teaches readers how to recognize red flags, avoid dishonest companies, protect their creative work, and stand up against scammers in the online business world. Honest, courageous, and empowering, this story is a reminder that even in the face of betrayal, resilience and determination can still lead to success. It inspires writers to never surrender their dreams now.
