Coles The Protocol of the Substitutionary Death of Jesus Christ at Village Green Shopping Centre in Vernon, BC

What happened on Calvary hill over two thousand years ago was actually an exchange...Jesus' life was terminated in exchange for man's life. The story of the substitutionary death of Jesus Christ is the greatest story ever told. It is a story of a love so deep, it reaches across the chasm of sin and death to bring us back to God. Through His death on the cross, Jesus took our place. He carried the punishment we deserved, paid the price for our sins, and made a way for us to be reconciled with God. This truth is not just history - it is life-changing power for today. Jesus' death gives God the opportunity to exercise mercy and bring us into His household as sons and daughters. When God looks at us He sees Jesus Christ and not us, because we have now 'put on Christ'.
