The Pickle Jar - Snippets for a Tired Professional and Exhausted Housewife is the third collection by Mr. S. Lakshminarayanan (89), following his earlier works A Dangerous Predicament and Eagles Don't Miss. Written between 2023 and 2024 during a period of recovery from postural vertigo, the manuscript reflects thoughtful and humorous observations on modern life. It explores changing relationships, social dynamics, and the charm of language through short stories and reflections. Influenced by P. G. Wodehouse and R. K. Narayan, the work blends wit with gentle realism, offering both introspection and comic relief for readers across generations. The book is intended for online publication across major platforms.
