Pixie is a scared and timid chihuahua who needs just one important thing to survive: a home.
She is cold, hungry, and injured when she is rescued by a kindly helper. But it is only after she is adopted by her forever family that Pixie finally blossoms into a healthy and happy friend who shares unconditional love with everyone she meets.
In this beautifully illustrated tale interspersed with bible verses, children are provided with a heartwarming view of how it feels to cherish a rescue dog or cat.
